Is It For Me?

The Complete Instructor Course is for people who want to gain skills in outdoor activities and outdoor education. By participating in the course you will kick start your career as an outdoor instructor and gain a broad base of technical outdoor skills, leading to nationally recognised qualifications, NGB's. You do not need to have previous experience in any of the activities but you will need to have a basic level of fitness, have a love for being in the outdoors and be motivated to work intensively with our instructors. We particularly welcome applications from people who are looking for a change of direction in their working life and are looking for high quality training. You need to be 18 years or over to participate in the training course.

In addition to the practical coaching you receive during the programme, one of the team will become your coaching mentor. You will have 1:1 time with your mentor to discuss your progress, identify your strengths and areas which need further work. Your mentor will be able to give advice about looking for work in the outdoor industry and what your choices are.
