Have you always dreamt of learning to climb but haven’t found the time or the people to go with? This concentrated four week course will get you climbing with confidence.  We provide the opportunity, the venues, the coaching and the equipment.

This one month residential course is ideal if you are a novice and want to learn to climb from the beginning.  If you have been using an indoor wall we can help you transfer those skills to the outdoors and take you on to lead climbing.

If you have some previous experience this course will go a long way in preparing you for an instructors qualification  – the Single Pitch Award (SPA). 

The course is an intensive coaching experience and we will guide you step by step as your climbing develops.  By the end of the month you should have the skills and understanding to go out, climb safely and continue to develop your techniques and experience.

During the four weeks the programme will run Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.  This is a completely practical course so will include climbing almost every day.  We will take you to a variety of venues chosen to suit you and your growing confidence. There is a wide choice of locations across Dartmoor and the sea cliffs of Devon and Cornwall.  We will also venture further west to the Land’s End area of Cornwall.  This is a particularly remote and stunning area with some classic climbing routes to explore.

 All climbing equipment is provided for this course  -  All you will need is a pair of climbing shoes.
