Week 10 - A week of firsts
Following the Level 2 canoe coach training in December, the students have begun their coaching practice. This week they ran the first of many sessions coaching year 9 students from Tavistock college.
Our students have proved their open boating comptence on flat water and were ready this week to experience white water, paddling the lower section of the river Dart. Plus kayak training was taken up by some of the students.
Following an already demanding week the whole group left early Thursday morning to travel up to Derbyshire for a long weekend of climbing gritstone.
