Week 3 - the last days of autumn sun
Our third week looks like it may be the last of the autumn sun. Beautiful still days on the lower Tamar estuary allowed students to practice the technical strokes used by canoeists without battling with the wind for once. Much of the week was spent climbing again with trainees' being introduced to the concept of lead climbing and how to place 'gear' to protect themselves. To attend the SPA training course students need to be able to confidently lead climb at any grade of difficulty.
