Week 10 - Surfing in the Atlantic The Kayaking and Canoeing programme is aimed at achieving the British Canoe Unions Level 1 Coach Award. The Complete Intructor Course is aimed at gaining as much experience in the outdoors as is possible so students can leave the course more aware of what the great outdoors can offer. The paddle strokes learnt for the level 1 award can be used in other contexts.. what better place than to try them out in the surf at one of the North Cornwall beaches.

One of the many ranges of skills the students bring with them to the course	Once the confidence had been built in the rather intimidating conditions that a 4ft swell can produce the group were surfing well. Here Kirsty shows how much fun can be had.
