Week 11 - North Wales
One of the highlights of the course is the trip to North Wales. Every year the weather makes the trip and this year was no exception. Snow rain and warm sunshine allowed us to climb and log a few good mountain days. The pictures say it all.

Day 1 in the mountains was about getting to grip with the sheer size of the features compared to Dartmoor and relating the map with its many contour lines to the ground |

|

Conditions above 800mtrs made the navigation slightly more interesting and made the point about maintaining good group control |
|

The summit of any mountain usually lends itself to a photograph Here at 3000ft in the snow the group find a moment to stop before making the long descent. |

The weather allowed a couple of days of climbing giving the group more lead climbs for their log books and each climb is one step closer towards their Single Pitch Award |
