Dartmoor Outdoor Company is seeking versatile instructors to expand its core team for the season.
These posts will include:
• Taking a key role in running guided canoe trips for families and holiday makers on local tidal rivers with Canoe Tamar (www.canoetamar.co.uk)
• Taking a key role in running woodland based activities including high ropes course, mountain biking, bush craft and archery.(www.treesurfers.co.uk)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and successful company that offers high quality outdoor experiences. We work with a diverse range of clients so it is essential that our instructors have excellent interpersonal skills and can adapt to the needs of these different client groups. This is a non-residential centre.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
• BCU level 2/3 or equivalent
• 3* canoe
• SPA or ropes course experience
• Excellent people skills, experience of leading other staff, organisational skills.
Desired
• Desire to learn and develop own skills further
• SPA
• GNAS or equivalent experience
• Mountain Biking leadership skills
• Bush Craft experience
• 25 years or older
Salary
Instructor: £275 a week
